GORGEOUS AUTHENTIC VICTORIAN CASTOR CONDIMENT SET Wonderful Heavy Hotel Variety Set with 6 Matched Etched Glass Cruets WORKING BUTLER'S BELL CA. 1870 - 1890 This is an authentic Victorian silver plate caster set made by the Rogers and Smith Silver company out of New Haven, Connecticut. This is a Hotel variety set that seats in a heavy well designed castor frame with a servants or butler's bell attached. The Butler's bell works great. T are 6 matching glass cruets with the same etched floral design. The glass bottles and inserts all appear to be in excellent condition. One of the stoppers has a teenie ding or edge chip w it seats in one of the oils and you cannot see this when the stopper is put in...I hardly noticed it at all when out of the oil. This sets stands at 15 inches in height and about 8.5 inches in diameter. This is a beautiful set and well made. Perfect addition for a lovely table setting or room decor for the upcoming holidays. This set came out of my Aunt's estate on Nantucket. We will be selling her entire collection of pickle castors, castor sets, and other Victorian items. As you can see from our feedback, people have been delighted with their purchases from her collection. My Aunt was a nurse in WW1 stationed in France and then spent years as an artist and antiquinarian traveling the world. She loved antiques
