This auction is for a Kimball reed pump parlor organ walnut top. The organ's serial number is 27,808 and dates from ca. 1881. It was "rescued" from a barn and as a result of being t for years, had a number of mud dauber nests on it! I have not cleaned off the residue so you can see the light spots w they were. It is made of walnut and is complete except for the two horizontal filials on either side of the very top center section. I have included a photo I located of the same style organ with an arrow pointing to one of the missing pieces. I was not able to save the base, so this auction is just for the top as shown in the photo of it sitting against a stone wall. The top measures 45.25" wide, 26" tall, and 9.5" deep and weighs 25 pounds. While it needs refinishing, it is made of solid walnut and dates from a time period when craftsmen used quality materials and did quality work! Buyers are welcome to pick this organ top up to save shipping. If you have any questions, just email me at . I am also listing several other organ case parts. Please check out my other auctions! Thanks for looking! PS I am researching information on Packard Organs. Please feel free to visit my website at .
