Victorian Art Nouveau Porcelain Limoges Basket

You are bidding on this gorgeous Victorian Art Nouveau Limoges Footed Basket. Wonderfully hand painted ruby red roses in various shades surround this adorable basket with leaves in tones of light to dark green. The background is in soft shades of yellow, green, and coral with gold trimmed rim. With a heavy gold handle and gold feet the inside has a bright yellow shiny glaze. The basket is 5 ½âe at the longest point, 4âe wide 4 ¼âe high to the top of the handle, yet 2 ¾âe tall without, in excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks, repairs or scratches. T is mild shelf wear on the bottom on the feet, commensurate with age. The bottom bears the makers mark Elite L France. As you may know, this is the Bawo & Dotter, mark 5 in green, underglaze factory mark, after 1900. This vintage Limoges Basket is perfect for use or as the perfect decorative touch. I recently purchased hundreds of pieces of hand painted china including a large selection of signed Limoges I will be listing over the next several weeks.
