For Your Bidding Pleasure Today We Have A Converted Victorian Oil Banquet Lamp. This beautiful lamp 's exact age, circa late 19th century, is unknown to me since it was purchased at an estate auction from a lamp collector. It has recently been electrified with an on-line on/off switch and is in working order. I believe the metal base and oil container is a polished brass. The stem is painted in bright colors almost "cloisonne-like". The frosted etched floral globe has brass rings at each opening. T is a clear hurricane covering globe the burner. The condition is excellent with just normal usage that goes with the age of the item. The total height of the lamp is 28 inches. The lamp body is 17 inches high and the globe is 9 1/2 inches.
