VICTORIAN BOHEMIAN GARNET 12K ROSE GOLD CLUSTER RING Size 8, genuine original stones, Old world beauty! This is an early, pretty Victorian Bohemian garnet rose gold cluster ring. It consists of a nice sized, prong set open back oval faceted 10mm by 7mm Bohemian garnet surrounded by twelve 2.5 mm prong set open back round cut Bohemian garnets creating a lovely overall marquis shape. The garnets are a gorgeous port wine color and sparkle firey blood red in the light. The ring band is 12K rose gold and has a few engraved highlights on the shank. It's unmarked but tests with acid. The ring shows quite a bit of wear with a few dents, but is completely stable. T is an old solder mark on the inside from an earlier sizing or repair. All of the garnets are in excellent condition and secure in their settings. The ring measures ¾" tall by a little over ½" wide. It weighs 2.2 grams. Size 8. Ca 1860-1870's.
