Being offered in this sale is a very pretty Victorian American art glass brides basket / bowl molded with an unusual trellis like border. The color is deep rich purple along the edges fading to soft lavender. T is a band of clear glass along the outer edge. The frame measures 14 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" wide. The bowl alone measures roughly 11 1/2" in diameter and is 3 3/4" deep. It has a polished pontil. The condition of the bowl is MINT. The frame has a circular impressed stamp that reads Quadruple Plate Adelphi Silverplate Co New York T is some minor wear to the plating otherwise t are no dents, dings or pitting to the frame. This is one of the nicer and more unusual brides baskets I have handled. The last four images illustrate a number of other pieces I have listed today separately on Ebay.
