Victorian circa 1880s britannia metal spirit kettle complete with accompanying nickel trivet stand,the kettle is finished with a rung handle,flat top finial flip lid and moutned upon the body with double piton retainers so as to comfortably sit upon the trivet, the trivet is fashioned so as to appear as spoked wooden twigs set in the centre base with a small fitment for a burner,will need a good clean but is in otherwise acceptable condition, the silver plate finish however being severely rubbed revealing the britannia metal construction,the underside to the kettle is impressed with markings indicating James Dixon & Son aswell as the EPBM mark indicating silver plate on britannia metal. kettle - width (handle to spout) : 20 cm - height : 21 cm - diameter : 13 cm trivet - width : 16 cm - breadth : 14.5 cm - height : 15 cm overall weight : 1194 grammes Please Allow up to seven days for delivery of your goods as they will need to be properly packed and posted,if you have any problems regarding your item please do not hesitate to contact me,Thankyou! :- please also note that all my auctions end and start on sundays,it is our aim to get your goods despatched to you as quickly as possible and as such all items items paid for within 12 hours of auction will guarantee despatch on tuesday morning after auction end as all packing is carried read more
