Antique, Victorian age, 'Colonial Soldier' Gas Lamp (converted to electric). Original Gas valve (back, bottom of base pic.) still attatched and very clean; threads are good. Solid Bronze soldier figure is amazing with much detail to the tree and base as well. Switch is click type (see pic). Other switch is original adjustable gas lever engraved w/ "ABCO Rochester". W the wire is attached to socket, it was done with shrink tube and a little electrical tape. Antique Cord and plug are solid. The shade is Mint with no chips around either opening and is a soft cream color; frosted on the inside. Clear glass fitter shade in same mint condition. All brass is clean and bright. A super clean, gas-to-electric conversion lamp for your study, office, or living room. A-1, Excellent condition guaranteed!!
