Antique 9ct Gold Antique Victorian Hallmarked Bracelet Charm ~ Fob. In the form of a Miniature Compass. The Gold surround stamped with its English Hallmark:- [9] [.375] [Anchor] [p] -which I believe is for Birmingham 1890. T is also a Maker's Mark, -a little rubbed & difficult to read, -3 initials, -2 of which appear to be:- [J.T.?] -(possibly another J?) Measuring approx:- 11/16ths of an inch / 1.8cms diameter, -(excluding top loop) & just over 3/16ths of an inch / 5mms deep. Would look great as a Watch-Chain Fob Ornament, or equally Good & Novel as a Bracelet Charm. The metal disc, backing the compass is Not gold; -but is possibly brass; -and the gold rim edging looks a little creased in places? -(but this may just be w it was originally bent over onto the backing disc during its manufacture) {I do like to mention all that I see in my descriptions} The compass hand does move when the fob-charm is shaken, -but is NOT working as a compass should. T is a tiny chip to the edge of the glass cover, & the glass is also scratched, -commensurate with age & past use, -presumably upon a watch-chain within a pocket. Otherwise, in Overall Good Antique Condition.
