Item - Victorian Cased-Glass Bride's Basket Description - This old cased glass bride's basket measures 11 1/2" long, 8" wide and 5" high. The inner layer of glass is yellowish-orange around the edge and custardy in the center. The outer layer is white. It is decorated with hand-painted deep red, blue and white flowers, all trimmed in gold. Looking at the wear on the bottom of the bowl, you can tell that this has spent most of its life in a metal basket. The bottom circle is 4" wide if you can find another plated piece to set this in. T are no cracks, chips or repairs anyw on the bowl - just the wear you can see in the pictures. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: PLEASE use the calculator at the bottom of the auction for shipping rates.
