Victorian Antique Celluloid Dresser Box w/ Brush, Comb, Etc.

A Little Victorian Girl is sitting on an Apple Branch

This box is in great condition for the age which is the late 1800's. It has one tiny chip out of the celluloid top on the right hand edge. Beautiful, vibrant print of a little victorian girl. Colors are mainly ivory, green and pink. She does have cute little black shoes. The box measures 10 1/4" x 7" and is about 2 3/4" tall. It has a beautiful ivory and pink marbled bakelite footing all the way around the box. The sides of the box are a beautiful decorative paper and it is coming off in a couple of places, but not bad at all. The bottom of the box is black paper which has come peeling. I have never seen a celluloid item witht his much detail in such great shape. Please see my pictures.

The Contents: Hard Celluloid Brush has embossed floral design and soft bristles. It does have three surface cracks on the handle. Comb is in great condition. T are two little pill boxes or boxes of some sort. Again they are hard celluloid and are embossed on the lids. One of them is in excellent shape and one has a crack and chip on the lid. T is also a cuticle pusher in bakelite and it has the tip of its handle broken off. These items sit in chintz lining that does have a few stains, but no holes that I could find.

Shipping will figured at the end of the auction with each additional auction being only $2.50 more! We always have lots of really unique items listed (if they don't end up in my home) so be sure to add me to your favorites list! Thanks for looking and happy shopping!
