Welcome to My Collectible Auctions Auction is for Victorian Velvet Covered Photo Album with Wonderful Celluliod Picture on the Cover and filled full with 28 Pictures. The album has some family photos but added photos to fill the album. All photos are unidentified as to individuals and only a few photographers are identified as from Lowell, MI., Lake Odessa, MI and Canada. Circa: 1870's-90's Sizes : The average cabinet Photo is 6-1/2 by 4-1/4 inches. Condition: Has a Very Good Condition 5-1/2 inch diameter Celluloid Picture of a seated Colonial Couple, framed with metal beadwork. The cover was a Brown and Tan Patterned Velvet, however, most of the nap missing and exposing a purplish patterned fabric underneath. The fabric only shows a small hole at each of the four corners of the back binding, the rest of the fabric seems to be free of tears, just worn and soiled. T are wonderful metal filigree ribbons in 3 of the four corners (one missing) of the front cover and nice filagree latch which is broken. Pages show some foxing and soiling and tears around the pictures and to the straps (most repaired) seen near the base of the photos, that help hold the pictures in.
