Fabulous Late Victorian Sterling Silver Calling Card Case With Embossed Cherub Design The Case Was Made In Chester 1900

Description - The Card case is rectangular in form with a hinged lid, and is of very good quality. The front of the case is embossed and engraved with winged cherubs surrounded by clouds within a scroll cartouche, the corners also have scroll pattern. The card case is hallmarked for Chester 1900 and is made by William Neale, the outside of the lid is also hallmarked.

Condition - The case is in fantastic condition and there only a few light surface scratches and a few small dimples. The hinge is in good order with no looseness.
