Lovely Victorian Chrome Plated Holosteric Barometer Retailed M Allen - Launceston Tasmania This lovely Victorian Chrome Plated Holosteric Barometer is in excellent working condition. The glass and lovely white enamel face are in perfect condition. The workings are free from dust and are still shiny brass and chromed in colour. The case needs a good clean and a product like Brasso would be perfect. The needle moves smoothly and so too does the hook for hanging. The rear is stamped P H B N in a circle and the adjusting / setting screw is free moving and changes the internal fixed needle. Measures approximately 13cm across and 5cm deep.
