This is a magnificent Period dress we are offering for auction! It is done in a lovely lime green. I believe the material is a silk or silk blend. The jacket has a high V neckline done in velvet with a lace ruffle attached. The front of the jacket has 3 rows of piping with 6 matching covered buttons, but the jacket actually fastens with hooks and eyes then the buttons/frogs. The cuffs are also velvet with a white lace ruffle. T had originally been 2 buttons on each cuff, but they had been removed. The cuffs fasten with small hooks and eyes to keep them snug.
