Victorian CONTA BOEHME Fairing Match Striker / Holder Girl with Doll & Baby Ref: CH200912 This is a charming late Victorian china fairing match striker / holder depicting a little girl holding her doll away from the baby seated on the floor. It was made by Conta & Boehme in Germany circa 1890 and has the impressed shield mark on the base along with two groups of impressed numbers - 4157 and 140. Apart from very slight damage to baby's left hand, condition is very good. Approximate width - 4 1/4 inches (10.7cms) depth - 2 1/2 inches (6.3cms) height - 4 1/2 inches (11.5cms). This item will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery within the UK or Airmail Small Packets (International Signed For) if going overseas. We ship worldwide, but overseas bidders should note that Royal Mail have maximum weight (2kgs) and size limits for Airmail and this includes Surface Mail and International Signed For. Items exceeding weight and/or size limits will be sent by International Courier, such as Fedex or Parcelforce. If Post & Packing to a particular destination is not listed, bidders are advised to contact us for a shipping quote before bidding, as costs may vary even between neighbouring countries. PLEASE NOTE Good quality packaging materials are quite expensive; whilst we absorb most of this expense, our shipping charges do include a small amount (�1 or less) to cover part of the packaging cost.
