Victorian Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Hanging Lamp This Victorian Hanging Hall Lamp is truly one of the most stunning examples of Cranberry Opalescent you're going to find! The globe shade measures 8 and 1/2 inches across and is in perfect condition. Both the top and bottom opening are 4 and ¼ inches across and the collar is quite ornate. The canopy measures 5 and ¼ inches across and the lamp has an overall drop of 30 inches and the roller mechanisms and chains are in working order. The small lamp that rests inside the base is original and free from damage. The chimney however is a replacement. I have not polished the brass as it has developed a wonderful patina. The color of this lamp is remarkable when lit and the pattern it throws is wonderful. The glass is more opaque towards the top of the globe and more cranberry to the base. The Hobnails measure about 1/8 of an inch. The smoke bell is missing but you can see from the photo w it would attach to the canopy. I will mention that t are two small holes in the side of the base which are noticeable in the photo. They are not distracting but I will leave it up the new owner to fill them if so desired.
