This is a very nice Victorian cranberry opalescent glass sugar shaker or muffineer. The pattern is known as 'Spanish Lace' or 'Opaline Brocade', by Northwood circa 1880's - '90's. This shaker is in excellent condition with some minor chipping underneath the metal screw-on lid. Every authentic Victorian sugar shaker I have seen has had this chipping under the lid, as this is w the glass was snapped off the rod. Otherwise, no chips or cracks. The lid has some expected wear - t is very minor corrosion. It measures about 4.75 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter at the widest. Please review all of the photographs. Thanks for looking! Please read our "About Me" page for our policies and bid only if you agree to the terms set forth tin. Buyer pays for actual shipping costs. Indiana residents add 6% sales tax.
