This auction is for the Victorian era ebonized hat rack you see here. The arms move back & forth, so it can be flattened down as you can see. The needlepoint design in the center of the oval is a top hat, cane, and scarf. The design is attractive, but note some of the stitching has come loose over the years. Also, some of the off-white colored detailing is missing and has been replace with some other filler pieces - I'm not sure what the off-white materials are - ivory? bone? celluloid? Note that one of the round parts that a hat would rest upon has a chip out of the wood. This measures about 16" X 13" X 7" deep when the rack part is fully extended to the front. It measures less when the arms are moved out to the side of the frame. This isn't perfect, but it displays really nicely - It's being sold as you see here. Be sure to look at all photos and supersize for best viewing. SHIPPING is $15.00 U.S. Bidders ONLY . If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to email. Thanks.
