It is our pleasure to present, for your consideration, this rare and lovely Victorian Empire Period Rosewood Two-Drawer Sewing Table with Fancy Foliate Stretcher Base (Circa: 1850). This elegant Table measures 29 ¼" in total height (from the floor to the top of the Table), 26" in width, and 16 ½" in depth and weighs approximately 45 pounds. The finish on this table appears to be original and it is simply fabulous! This gorgeous Table has all of the understated elegance that one would expect from a Victorian Empire Period piece!. The simple design is augments with a total of 12 finials as well as many half finials on the body of the table. Two hand-dovetailed drawers with intact locks provide storage opportunity. We have included a tasseled key to assist in opening and closing the drawers but please note that this key does not work with the locks. It is not the original key but will help you open the drawers. Finally, an exquisite pierced foliate stretcher base adds elegance and completes this fabulous Victorian Empire Period Rosewood Sewing Table.
