Dainty yet classy garnet brooch. Clasp dates this piece to around 1900 . It is a lever operated clasp that goes upwards (unfortunately the portion of the lever that would lock it in place is missing) it has no dents or dings or loose stones, 1 1/4" by 5/8". Handcrafted, no markings, appears to be gold filled although I have not tested it. Inclusions ARE visible in natural stones only with the use of a 10x jewelers loupe. No international sales!!
