Victorian era jewelry casket with micro mosaic lid. Lid is decorated with micro mosaic glass rods in white, yellow, two tone brown, and two tone green that form daisys with yellow centers surrounded with green and brown leaves. Casket box is 6 sided and made of beveled glass inserts prong set in brass. Sits on brass feet. Inside of box has frayed tuffeted gray silk lining. Hinge on lid is excellant. Catch at front is a little loose. Also there is a chip in the top corner of one of the glass panals (see pic.#10), and finally a glob of some sort of glue on one of the daisys(see pic#3). Very good antique estate condition. No missing mosaic rod tiles. 3"s tall and 3"s wide. Made in Bavaria or Austria in the late 1800's.
