Up for auction today is a Victorian Figural Napkin Ring, silverplated, featuring two Oriental fans mounted on an ornate base and holding up a fancy floral ring. Mounted under the ring is a small butterfly. This ring is listed in the napkin ring book by Gottschalk and Whitson on page 200. The ring was made by Meridan Britannia and marked as such with #203. This handsome ring has little or no wear and would be an excellent addition to any collection.
