WONDERFUL VICTORIAN FIGURAL GRIFFINS CAGED NAPKIN RING CA. 1870 - 1890 For those of you who collect figural napkin rings, you know how difficult it is to find the hanging ring in the caged griffins cage. This is a wonderful addition to anyone's napkin ring collection. Superb condition! This napkin ring was made by the Bridgeport Silver Co. located in Bridgeport Connecticut back in the late 1800's. The ring hangs from a hook in the center of the cage and is easily removed or reattached. The silverplating is excellent, and the piece is clearly hallmarked on the bottom with the Bridgeport logo and production numbers, We are almost done selling Glady's rings and these are some of the last few, so do't let this one get away. Many of our rings have gone to very prestigious buyers who are known very well in the napkin ring collecting circles. GORGEOUS NAPKIN RING SATISFYING THE MOST DISCRIMINATING COLLECTOR . This napkin ring came out of my Aunt's estate on Nantucket. My Aunt was a nurse in WW1 stationed in France and then spent years as an artist and antiquinarian traveling the world.
