AUTHENTIC VICTORIAN SILVERPLATE ROSE BUD OR TULLIP VASE WITH LOVELY FITTED GLASS INSERT ca. 1880 - 1890 This is an authentic victorian silverplate tullip or rose vase that came out of my Aunt's collection. The Vase was made by the Forbes silver co. in the late 1800's. The silverplate looks tarnished with that aged old soft patina, so we did not try and polish it as many collectors prefer it. The design on the body of the vase is a lovely floral pattern. The vase stands at about 4 inches in height and about 3 inches in diameter. The bottom is clearly hallmarked with the Forbes logo with the rooster head in the center. Thank you for bidding. We hope this goes to a nice home.
