Massive, antique, salvaged, architectural pediment. Fantastic, high quality carving, straight from Europe. Guaranteed not to be a reproduction. Wood is walnut and it is wonderful overall condition. Lots of possibilities for a top, from walnut wood or cast iron, to granite/marble or slate. Nice beveled trim along the bottom with step-ups below the corbel brackets. In the middle is a framed recessed panel with repeating grooves. The acanthus carved corbels are incredible. Wonderful scroll design at the top. Ordinary scratches/dings, but nothing major. What you see is what you get. It measures 52 3/8 inches long, 9 1/4 inches tall, and 6 1/4 inches deep. Here is a great chance to steal a bargain, that otherwise would be a $500 piece.
