Spectacular Gone With the Wind Library Hanging Lamp. The frame is solid brass and hangs 43 inches from the ceiling (it could be shortened if desired). the frame itself is an amazing piece of art with wings on either side of a central oil holder. The wings depict a victorian person with a spear and a griffon. The lamp is about 18 inches across as the widest point. I was told the wings were made by the Framone Company in Italy. the center is about seven inches across and is highly detailed with cherubs around the intricate brass work. the frame holds a 14 inch shade and all bands are in excellent condition and match. T is a smoke bell and beautiful chain links that in the center it looks like a sun. Ther are 42 crystals that are 3 inches long around the top band and shade ring. The lamp is wired for electric. The shade is a spectacular piece of art and quality of master artisans of days long past. The shade is is in a light melon green at the top fading to a darker antique green with three burgandy and pink roses on the front and three buds and t is a large rose and a bud on the back. The shade is in excellent condition and is free from chips or cracks. The lamp will be shipped well packed in two boxes. The shade box will be lined with plywood and double boxed for safe delivery.
