You are bidding on an extraordinary Victorian hobnail hand blown, hand finished translucent Jack in the Pulpit. This elegant vase has stunning color that shades from coral on the inside throat fading into deep burgundy to black color near the outside of the ruffled rim. The vase has an undecorated, translucent fiery milky white finish and exhibits a pontil on the base, which is a mark of hand blown glass. T is a tint of green on the base when lit, as you can see in the photograph. I do not know who the maker of this beautiful Jack in the Pulpit is but if you do please write to me and let me know. The vase is 7 ¼" high is approximately 7" inches wide at the widest part of the ruffle at the top opening, and is 4" inches wide at its base. This is an exceptional piece of glass in Mint Condition.
