Victorian Hand Carved Cherub Cameo Gold Swivel Brooch This gorgeous, Victorian, hand carved Cameo Brooch shows two cherubs frolicking together. The carving shows great attention to detail and portrays a delightful scene. There is a glass window on the reverse which could be used for mourning hair or your own sentiments. You could put a picture in the reverse and then it could be swivelled round to be worn either way. The Cameo is set within a beautifully engraved, high carat gold frame which has developed a wonderful rosy hue over the years. There are slight stress lines running down the Cameo and a small part of the glass is broken but these are minimal for a piece of such age. It is completed with a safety chain for added security. Cameo Brooches are highly collectable and sought after worldwide. It is in good condition with beautiful craftsmanship and would delight any collector as well as looking fabulous when worn. It weighs 19.9 grams. The Cameo is 40mm across and 48mm down - that's just less than 1.75 inches by approximately 2 inches.
