Antique VICTORIAN Irish CROCHET BEDSPREAD Banquet Tablecloth 19th Century Exquisite Huge - 95x100 This antique Victorian 19th Century Irish Crochet Masterpiece can easily be used as a bedspread or a banquet tablecloth. It was acquired from an antique dealer in Dublin, Ireland on one of my trips as culinary historian for Irish America Magazine. At the time of purchase, it was yellowed with age, so I had it professionally cleaned by a restoration expert who wrapped it in acid free tissue in which it has been stored dust-free for ten years. Thousands of hours went into the fabrication of this amazing example of Women's Folk Art. Shown on a queen size bed. I think it looks like snowflakes. Measurements: 95 wide x 100 long (including 5-inch fringe on long sides). Material: snow-white cotton crochet string. Fringe is on two sides, the other two have a scalloped crochet edge. Questions?
