HARD-TO-FIND! BEAUTIFUL 5-3/4'' sterling silver IVY pattern SUGAR SHELL SPOON by Whiting circa 1870's. WEIGHS about 5/8 of an ounce. This pattern was first issued in 1866 by the designer, HENRY HEBBARD. Early in the 1870's Whiting purchased this pattern, as well as GRECIAN and other Hebbard patterns.

T are very minor bumps to the bowl, otherwise t is no undue wear. Slight casting flaw as shown. I have given the piece a light polish, the rest is up to you!
