It was worn similar to the same times that today we would be wearing a house robe, just chillin out times/ getting ready for nitetime or even preparing hair etc to get ready to put on a more formal dress. In very very good, very clean sturdy condition. The fabric is lovely baby pink with thin white pin stripes, the matching collar is 5" wide and adorned with 3" gorgeous tulle and embroidered lace (this lace is also in extremely good condition). Infamous Leg O Mutton sleeves of course are the highlight of this adorable wrapper, the sleeves taper to 4" across at the hem. The back is also very attractive with a wide full length tucklike pleat and short gathering that is similar to bustle pleats. And of course, the built in waist length cotton camisole with unmatching buttons - this also is in very good condition. The outer closureis only one small button at the neckline. It is a little snug on my mannequin which measures a 32" bust.
