This is an impressive brass ceiling fixture chandelier oil light with a Victorian look. I am not sure of the age of this fixture and it may not be vintage or antique and could be a reproduction. I do know that is is extremely good quality and has a nice antique look. It is an oil lamp that is electric, either converted or, if a reproduction, originally electric. On the 2 oil burner knobs it says John Scott Made In England. This ceiling chandelier is about 38" from the bottom of the shade to the ceiling canopy and the shade would be about 14" across. It also has 34 crystal prisms. It is in excellant condition with no dings or dents. This light does work and the wiring and sockets look to be in good shape. Chandeliers similar to this in Van Dyke's Restorer's Catalog cost from $500 to $600. T is not a shade but quality reproduction shades can be purchased on line. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Paypal, money order and good check accepted.
