Set of 4 slides (part 2 of 7 sets) depicting life in Africa in 1900. All slides photographic images apart from map. Each slide measures 8 x 8 cms and has been individually wrapped by previous owner in seed catalogue paper dating 1930. All in excellent condition for age and, judging from condition of boxes, wrapping and slides, I would say they have been stored carefully for years without being used. Each set comes in original cardboard box from slide manufacturer 'The Slide House, Ltd H Luscombe Toms'. Some of the boxes have inscriptions on base depicting details of slides and the date 1900. This set has names and date 1900 inscribed in pen on box and number 10 stamped. Part of a large private collection I will be listing over the next few days. I am happy to combine postage but any items totalling over £46.00 will have to be sent Special Delivery in UK and if overseas I always send tracked delivery. Sold as seen. No reserve.
