What can I say about these chairs? They are mine. I have had them for about twenty years. The mahogany is the most intricately carved I have seen in a chair of this period. It is difficult for me to part with the beautiful floral pattern. I am downsizing and they just do not fit in the apartment. I would really like them to go to someone who appreciates their uniqueness and beauty. It is so hard also to find an identical pair like this. They are of course from the Victorian era and they have casters on the front two legs. The fabric is not original. I reupholstered in a pale pink and white floral filigree with a double roping around. No one has ever sat on those chairs, hence, no stains, no marks. Many have tried.... LOL I kept them on both sides of the fireplace and they were always a conversation piece. Ok enough already... I wish them well in their new home.. HAPPY BIDDING. *They would be beautiful as two end chairs on a dining room set. I am starting at a very very very low reserve and just letting them go. ENJOY LOCAL PICKUP always welcome or I will ship exactly as UPS charges..... J
