We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful refinished mahogany Victorian age chest of drawers with a bevel glass shapely mirror that dates from the 1890s to 1910s. It is a beautiful piece that has been refinished by the previous owner in a dark reddish brown stain finish. It has a wonderful mahogany solid carved molded mirror frame with an original one inch exposed bevel glass mirror still intact. The mirror sits in a carved yolk supported with brass threaded rods that allows the mirror to swivel. The base of the dresser is curve front with serpentine two large dove tail drawers and two small curved dove tail drawers. has a most unusual brass hardware that has an embossed eagle in the center of the oval design. The overall size is 42 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 37 inches high to the dresser base and 70 inches high overall. The size of the looking glass is 22 inches wide by 29 inches high. The condition of the dresser is nice since it has been refinished previously. The looking glass shows a lot of wear and age marks on it. We can either leave the looking glass or replace it if the buyer so desires for an additional $50. It is a great looking dresser that we are pleased to be offering today. read more
