Antique STUNNING!!!!Victorian Black Walnut Marble Top Dresser Low Reserve~
Age: 1800-1899 Style: Victorian Original Region of Origin: American A fantastic Fine Quality Original Finish Victorian Black Walnut Marble Top dresser (Circa: 1860's). The details on this piece are fabulous! The original finish. The top crown is graced with a beautiful arched top, applied foliate and scroll medallions, and finials. This beautiful crown sits on the rounded shoulders of the top. This top configuration is further graced with a mirror that sits in the middle of two-display shelf. Please note that the top can be removed for shipping purposes. Also a beveled white marble top, all drawers are dovetailed and have ebonized teardrop pulls (one pull needs fixing had part), as well as a hidden bottom safe drawer, and two glove box drawers on top . Plenty of storage opportunity in the drawers. Two candle shelves adorn the mirror. It is sturdy and in good condition (needs a good cleaning and polishing) Original condition. Over 100 years old will have some type(s) of slight or minor imperfections or marks of character. It is exactly these time-acquired features that intrigue collectors to ponder about how the piece must have been used and by whom. Such marks of use and character only add to the authenticity, charm, and desirability of the piece. Dresser 20" deep X base 33 1/4 " to marble X 45.5" wide. plus mirror which makes it. 93" tall.. The mirror frame is 42.5 " tall x 22.5 " wide.
