Offering a Victorian art glass amber mother of pearl vase made circa 1890 made by Phoenix or Mount Washington. It is 9 1/4" high and 6 1/4" wide. Blown glass. Full ovoid body with thick neck and smokey ruffled lip. Cased glass in a quilted pattern that changes with the size of the blown glass piece. The color changes as well from intense amber at the top to white at the base. Applied smokey splash handles. Satin finish. No maker's mark. Probably Phoenix Glass Co. No chips, cracks, repairs. A few dark fleabites on one side of the body, maybe bubbles during the manufacturing process. See pics.
