A rare novelty Thistle Vinaigrette, finely cast and chased, London 1876 by Edward H Stockwell. Fully hallmarked on the stem. The grill marked with makers mark, lion passant and date letter. Length: 9.6cms. Weight: 75gms. For information on a similar piece see, Investing in Silver by Eric Delieb page 106/7. This is a very rare Vinaigrette rarely seen at auction and is in exceptional condition with no damage or repairs. It is offerered without reserve.
