We check emails with our cell phone, while on the road and will answer them by phone. c1890 Victorian Oak Banquet Dining Table 10 Feet 's an outstanding Victorian Oak Dining Table, c1890 in age. This table is from an estate auction near Binghamton, New York. It came to us in poor finish and needing some work to the slides. The good news is that it came complete, with all 7 original leaves. It's been refinished and looks wonderful. The top is stain and blemish free. This table is Solid Oak, no veneer.
We are replacing the slides and casters. Expect the table delivered in good working order. It's 42" square when closed. This table accepts all of its 7 leaves, to extend to 10 feet. READ ON! The table is shown with 4 leaves in place, extended to just over 7 feet. The leaves are in nice condition. One was separated on the glue seams. Re gluing is a routine repair for us. They are all solid and fit fine. All are about 11". All original. READ ON! The legs are great. The are all solid and tight, no damage. The legs are about 4" in width. T is a center leg, also about 4" wide. The table had casters. They were missing. As mentioned, we'll be replacing them This table stands solid. With the new slides opening and closing will be smooth. The center leg can be positioned according to the extended length. This is a great Antique table. Clean, solid, has some character. The big ones are requested, not often found.
