I would like to offer for sale a Victorian Oak Desk Chair circa 1890's. This high pressed back desk chair features a design of beads and oak leaves. Below are beaded turned spindles leading to an oak slat with more leaf carvings. The arm rest are supported by the same bead turned graduated spindles. Each arm does have a metal rod for added strength. The spring adjuster is marked "Crocker Chair Co. Sheboygan" . The spring is very tight. There is a repair to the bottom, it is very sturdy and well done. The measurements are 46 inches high, 25 1/2 inches wide, 18 1/2 inches deep. The sitting area is 19 inches wide, 16 1/2 inches deep, the height is adjustable. The weight is about 15 lbs. This is a very nice desk chair and being darker color would go nicely with either dark oak or walnut. Please view and examine the pictures as part of the description. Feel free to ask any question of concern before purchase. Please check the other victorian items in my ebay store "jeansantiques" and add me to your favorites list.
Please remember that vintage and antique items will show some types of wear and may have minor imperfections. This only adds to the mystique and charm of things that have been lived with and loved for centuries.
