I cannot use Paypal as I reside in South Africa. Paypal who ads to South African Monetary regulations, will not accept deposits from buyers into my account. The only payment method accepted will be by direct bank transfer into my UK account, money order or cashier's cheque. **PLEASE, PLEASE do not bid on this auction if this does not suit you. I know it is difficult to transfer money into a bank account when you do not know the person, so if necessary I can give you references of people who have done so**I will split the cost of the transfer with you if you live outside the UK Fluorescent Glass and Uranium Glass are defined very simply as any kind of glass which has uranium in it, and what we all tend to call today "Vaseline Glass". I can picture a Victorian home with a table laid with wonderful pieces of Vaseline Glass and only imagine the elegance of it all. I am not able to tell you much about the glassmakers and factories, but can recommend reading all about it at this site/antiquing/vaseline_glass.htm Dave Peterson, an expert on Vaseline glass, has written 2 books about it and is also a founding board member of Vaseline Glass Collectors, Inc so please go to the url and read his fascinating story. Listed is a magnificent pair of vaseline and cranberry vases. I beleive this shape is called "Jack In The Pulpit" They are on yellow ribbed vaseline stems with a vaseline ribbon around the stem and the vases are fluted trumpets, with cranberry edging. Condition is absolutely superb, with not a chip or crack to be seen anyw They have been in a display cabinet for many years and are perfect. Measurements are approx 9-10" from the bottom to the tallest tip. Please email me with any questions and sorry, but no returns. Enjoy this auction with no reserve and thanks for looking. Please note that I send all my ceramics and glass DHL GLOBAL, as I find this makes me feel better, and so is ultimately better for you too. Unfortunately, I can no longer ship to Korea, as it is outrageously expensive and unaffordable. This has nothing to do with the lovely people I have met, and I apologise about this. I will be listing a shipping list with the cost per kilo..for example, shipping to Korea from South Africa is $61 a kilo.
