This auction is for a victorian style antique front parlor stove. Made by Fischer-Leaf Company Louisville, KY. This is a family piece once belonging to my great great paternal grandmother. She was an extremely thrifty lady so I am sure the arrival of this piece to her rural home in southern Kentucky was quite an event. In excellent condition. About 25 years ago the stove was restored with the nickel plating redone and new stove black paint applied. Forgive the warm lighting which makes the metal appear golden. It is nickel silver in color. Please e-mail with questions if needed. ***If paid in advance, I will be happy to take care of the stove until pickup can be arranged. Thanks. The stove stands almost 44 inches high and at its widest point (including handles) the stove measures just shy of 19 inches in diameter.
