Pretty Victorian Real Turquoise & Silver Heart Photograph Locket c1880 Description Victorian Heart Photograph Locket This is a Lovely Old Pndant From Around 1880....the Victorian Period It is Made From Silver..There is a Tiny Mark on the Bale / Loop in the Shape of a Heart with Very Good Detailing. It is Set with Pretty Real Turquoise Domed Stones in Turquoise Blues & Greens......Real Turquoise Can Have Green Tinges To The Stone, But Also Turns Green When it Comes into Contact with Air or Chemicals From Perfume Etc. It Has a Bale / Loop Attached Also Set With Real Turquoise Stones Ready For a Chain or Ribbon To Be Added if Required. At The Back There is a Small Round Section That Pulls Out To Form a Photograph / Hair Locket. The Pendant Excluding The Bale / Loop Measures Approx 2cms ( 3/4") x 1.7cms (5/8") . It is in Good Condition For Its Age, There are No Dents & No Stones Missing & No Stones Look To Have Been Replaced& The Glass is Complete in the Back.........See Photographs A Superb Victorian Turquoise Heart Pendant.
