This listing is for this Victorian Rosewood and inlaid mother of pearl lap desk writing box.It is decorated on the front panel and the top with inlaid circles and connected banding of mother of pearl with a square centerpiece of pearl on the top(t are a couple of light surface scratches on the top).On the front panel one mother of pearl circle and the diamond shaped key escutcheon are missing and I do not have the key.The inside has two dark blue velvet covered compartments and a small covered compartment for pens with an ivory knob;on either side are open compartments for ink bottles(I do not have the ink bottles).The underneath of one compartment cover has a split and the bottom of the box has some splits(can see on inside photo) that are covered up on the bottom with a piece of green burlap .W the top panel joins the box has been repaired in the back and t is a very small piece of the veneer missing and a few buckles on the sides.The desk is 12" long,8 3/4" wide and 4" deep.Large or heavy packages may be shipped USPS Parcel Post to certain locations.Thanks for looking and good luck!
