Stunning Victorian sapphire and diamond ring, finger size K, 3.8 grams in weight, a marquis shape ring measuring 27 x 10mm, set with five very pretty pale blue sapphires which graduate from 3mm to 4mm diameter, they are old round cut stones allthough the centre sapphire is slightly cushion shaped and a tad lighter in colour, the sapphires are surrounded by twenty four old round cut diamonds, the diamonds graduate from approximately 1mm to 2mm diameter, a couple of the diamonds are slightly darker in colour but none the less it is a very pretty ring and the diamonds have lots of fire, the setting is yellow gold but has no evident hallmarks, there are several surface scratches on the shank which are only evident with a 10x loupe, the ring comes with a vintage ring box, overall in good Victorian condition.
