VICTORIAN SHELL CAMEO 9CT YEL GOLD & 800 SILVER DEMI-SET, ITALY. PENDANT & EARRINGS.WELCOME, TODAY ON OFFER IS A LOVELY YELLOW GOLD & 800 SILVER OVAL SHELL CAMEO DEMI-SET OF PENDANT & EARRINGS, fresh from a recent estate.This Victorian demi-set is lovely, a combination of 800 Italian silver & 9ct yellow gold oval pendant & matching earrings. The oval deep bezel frames have a narrow twist of 9ct yellow gold for an added decorative touch.The pendant has softly rounded scalloped edge outer frame & the bale is hallmarked, although a little worn, for 9ct. The pendant measures; 1” 1/8 th inches TALL, including bale, x 5/8 th ” inch WIDE. The carved shell cameo has very fine detail.The earrings have screw backs, hallmarked, 800 for Italian silver of the era, they measure; ¾” inch TALL x ½’ inch WIDE. A nice sign of quality is that they are a mirror pair, i.e; one facing Left & the other facing Right. The exquisite detail in these fine cameo earrings is delightful, together they make a superb set for the collector of lovely antique jewels. Total silver weight is; 6.8 grams.
