Victorian Silk Crazy Quilt Top Antique Embroidered

Being offered for auction is this 55 inch by 59 inch antique Victorian style quilt or display piece. The mostly silk fabric has been embroidered onto a what I presume is a muslim backing. A piece of black satin has been machine stitched onto the back and so one can't see. I have just listed a pillow case from the same estate and that was attached to muslim. I presume that was typical of the time. (turn of the century I think) The piece has very pretty fancy work with lots of techniques. This piece has beautiful embroidery of different sorts. T is some damage. I counted a dozen or so pieces that were worn and thread bear or fabric missing. One of these spots is swon in the pictures. This is silk fabric and could be replaced. I am also posting a pillow top that came from the same estate and would be happy to combine orders to save on shipping. Please email me if you have any questions. I was asked by an Ebayer for more close up pictures of the quilt. I have posted 3 more. The last picture is trying to show you one of the pieces that has damage. The colors are quite rich and the damage, even though it is t, blends in pretty well and it is hard to picture. Thanks for looking.
