Ebay a little boring lately? Ready for a spring fling??? .... OR just looking for that perfect addition to your collection ? ...... Well you've stopped by the right place! Offered for auction is a beautiful antique Victorian enamel on porcelain, sterling silver pansy love token pendant. This is a beautiful OLD piece. Victorian sweethearts used the secret Language of Flowers to secretly express their feelings for one another ..... a pansy means ...." You OCCUPY My Thoughts". What more could a girl ask for?? This appears to be hand painted enamels on porcelain bezel set into a heavy silver pendant. It is ornately engraved on the back MnM. Due to the subject matter and the highly gothic ornate script of the engraving helps to date the piece to the late 1800s. A very romantic but proper period in history. This piece is in excellent condition with no damage. The silver has a dark patina and has not been cleaned. It is not signed anyw that I can find. It measures 2 1/8" x 1 3/4" across. What a beautiful way to celebrate spring, with new beginnings, fresh blooming flowers and perhaps a new love. Stay tuned to my upcoming auctions as that I am bringing out some my favorite treasures!
