LARGE AUTHENTIC VICTORIAN CASTER CONDIMENT SET SET OF 5 MATCHING CRYSTAL CRUETS CA. 1870 - 1890 This is a lovely Castor set made in the late 1800's by the Pelton Silver Co. out of St. Louis, Mo. This is a handsome castor set with 5 matching castor bottles. The set is tarnished and has an aged patina throughout which we refrain from polishing since so many people prefer the aged look to an antique. The tops to the cruets are loose and are corroded some, but look ok all the same. The set is clearly hallmarked with the Pelton logo. Overall, this is a handsome set that could use a good cleaning and a good home. I feel like I just wrote up an item description that should be for dog needing a home fom the pound..LOL.
